Founder

Born and raised in Cape Town beneath Table Mountain, Jeremy Killian developed a deep connection to the region’s natural beauty from an early age. Childhood days spent exploring the mountains sparked a lifelong passion for the Cape’s unique flora and the art of landscape design.

Influenced by a father with a love for plants, Jeremy pursued horticulture with dedication, building a reputation for excellence through his work with Natures Blueprint. His projects — including contributions to the prestigious Lanzerac Manor Hotel — and features in publications such as the Cape Times and Argus have established him as a respected name in the industry.

Jeremy believes that gardens are living, evolving spaces that require thoughtful design and ongoing care. Through Nature’s Blueprint, he offers a full spectrum of services — from concept and design to construction and long-term maintenance — ensuring each garden is both beautiful and enduring.

With a personal appreciation for the Cape’s ecological systems, including the natural role of fire in fynbos regeneration, Jeremy brings both expertise and authenticity to every project. His work is driven by a commitment to creating outdoor spaces that reflect the spirit, resilience, and beauty of the region.

Lara Killian joined Nature’s Blueprint in 2010 and, together with her husband, took ownership of the business in 2012. Since then, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the company into a leading garden maintenance service provider in Cape Town.

With over 15 years of experience in hospitality management, Lara brings a strong focus on exceptional service and client care. Her ability to understand individual client needs has led to the development of tailored service packages, ensuring every garden receives a personalised and attentive approach.

Known for her keen eye for detail and intuitive understanding of client preferences, Lara is dedicated to delivering consistently high standards. Her commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has helped establish Nature’s Blueprint as a trusted name in the industry.
